This belt has changed from its original form. The belt is wider and will NOT fit the original beater bar on the DC17. Beater Bar must be converted to the new number, 911961-01 and is covered under the Dyson warranty.

(maybe I have a later model, not sure) These belts are wider than the belts I got from a local vacuum shop but they fit much better. Great product and very cheap. I was paying close to $7 a piece for a local shop to provide me with sub-par belts.
